I saw some really cute wall decorations that I wanted from a local store,
but they were on sale for $39 a piece.
They are absolutely ADORABLE,
but I couldn't justify buying two or three of them just to put on my wall.
Here is another one that is not a wall hanging, but just as cute and a
great inspiration to help me improvise.
I went to Home Fabrics and bought 3/4 of a yard of this really cute fabric at $6.99 a yard.
Then I bought 4 frames that were 2 for $12 with an extra 30% off.
You've got the cutest blog!

Nate Berkus says that framed fabric is the way to go for cheap art that looks great! Nicely done. Thanks for linking up to Home and Family Friday.

Very cute - I love using fabric in unexpected ways.
ReplyDeleteI love framing fabric. Yours looks great! Loving the B&W.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything you could/would spray on the fabric when completed, to cut down on dust, etc?
ReplyDeleteThere is the picture fram glass over the fabric, so all I have to do is clean the glass occasionally.
DeleteSo pretty! How did these hold up in the frames? I saw some tutorials that said to tape or staple the fabric to a foam board and I'm wondering if that's really necessary. Thanks for the tutorial!
ReplyDeleteThey are still in the frames and on the wall doing great. :)
DeleteAwesome!! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly :)
