Rice packs (Stocking Stuffer 3)

Rice Packs aka: Boo Boo Packs

These were really easy and the great thing, they will be so useful!
A few weeks ago, I was reading another blog, no big dill, and she made these little rice packs for boo boos. I thought it was such a great idea because, like her kids, my kids have the idea that you need a band-aid for EVERYTHING. So instead of a band-aid for some of those owies, we have a Boo Boo pack.
You just microwave them or freeze them.
These are smaller ones. About 7x4 inches.
They only need to be microwaved for about 20 sec.
or put in the freezer for an hour.

And these ones are a little bigger, but still small size. About 7x8 inches.
These only need to be microwaved for 30-40 secs.
or put in the freezer for an hour.

I made these with a layer of terry cloth and a layer of quilting cotton.
They are filled with white rice and ground cloves.
There are many scents you can use, mint, lavender, essential oils...
Most of this you have around the house, so these are easy and inexpensive.
