Ice Cream Parlor Party Invitations

I'm planning an Ice Cream Parlor birthday party for my daughter and these are the invites I made for her party.

I found this SVG Ice Cream Cone file from svgcuts.com & I cut all the different pieces using my Cricut.

I have this awesome stamp from Stampin Up! (don't know what set it is) & I used it to add some pattern to my plain orange ice cream scoop. I first stamped onto scrap paper & then onto my cone, so the pattern would be light & barely noticeable.

Here's a close up of what the orange cone looks like with the pattern.

After inking all my edges, I used my trusty Xyron to make all my pieces into stickers.
My Xyron saves me LOADS of time :)

Then I assembled my ice cream cones piece by piece.

One scoop...

Two scoop.
I alternated my colors cause I like to change things up like that.

Love the cute cherry they include with the SVG.

I figured since there was so much color going on that I needed a little white involved. After cutting them all out I noticed my edge punch and thought this would be the perfect place to use it.
This is another one of my awesome Stamp Up! punches, the scalloped edge punch.

And of course I had to ink those edges too. They were just too white :)
I alternated my inking between pink and orange since I was using different colored background paper. Mostly just cause I didn't have enough of either orange or pink on hand.

This is my newest punch and let me tell you, I'm in LOVE!
Isn't it purdy?
You'd think I was a Stampin Up! demonstrator, but I'm not, I just love punches!!
I just thought this label went perfectly with my theme, so I printed my invite & punched the labels out for the front of the invite.

As you can see, I made a couple different versions of the invites.
It's funner (I know it's not a word, but it's funner to use) that way & let's face it, whenever I start a project I don't make sure I have all the color paper I need ;)

Maybe you couldn't tell yet, but the party colors are pink, orange (tangerine like) and white.
I didn't include the back cause I didn't think you'd all care about the party details, but that's where I told guest about location, time, etc.
I'm so excited for this party myself and I can't wait & I'm not even one of the little girls!
Well, maybe I really am at heart :)

    2. Ugh. I just purchased the file you linked to and alas...it does not have that ice cream cone. :( Any idea where I might be able to get that file? I'm willing to purchase again, but bummed the one I paid for doesn't have it.

    3. Sorry that happened. The link I have goes to the file titled "Birthday Elements SVG Collection" and it has the ice cream cone included. You might want to contact the seller because in the description they say the ice cream cone is included in the file. Hopefully they can help you work it out.
