Little Girl Formal Dress

***For the tutorial on this dress, click here.

This past weekend my daughter got baptized and she wanted a special dress for her special day.

I searched the internet for cute dresses and this is the one my daughter and I liked.

She wanted an all white dress and I wanted one with color, so we decided on a white dress with fuchsia accents.

It took me forever to start making this dress because I was so scared to try and sew without a pattern. Now I'm over that fear and when I get some time I'll try and share a tutorial with you. I'm not sure I got step by step pictures, but I can at least share step by step instructions.

I'm so pleased with how her dress turned out and now I have a little more confidence in my ability to sew by making my own pattern.

  11. You sewed this WITHOUT a pattern????????? I made 2 similar dresses for my granddaughter's wedding (she had 2 flowergirls) and it took me a month for each one! I can't imaging doing it without a pattern! YOU are amazing.
