I'm planning an Ice Cream Parlor birthday party for my daughter and these are the invites I made for her party.
I found this SVG Ice Cream Cone file from svgcuts.com & I cut all the different pieces using my Cricut.
I have this awesome stamp from Stampin Up! (don't know what set it is) & I used it to add some pattern to my plain orange ice cream scoop. I first stamped onto scrap paper & then onto my cone, so the pattern would be light & barely noticeable.
After inking all my edges, I used my trusty Xyron to make all my pieces into stickers.
Two scoop.
I figured since there was so much color going on that I needed a little white involved. After cutting them all out I noticed my edge punch and thought this would be the perfect place to use it.
And of course I had to ink those edges too. They were just too white :)
I alternated my inking between pink and orange since I was using different colored background paper. Mostly just cause I didn't have enough of either orange or pink on hand.
This is my newest punch and let me tell you, I'm in LOVE!

Isn't it purdy?
You'd think I was a Stampin Up! demonstrator, but I'm not, I just love punches!!
I just thought this label went perfectly with my theme, so I printed my invite & punched the labels out for the front of the invite.
As you can see, I made a couple different versions of the invites.
It's funner (I know it's not a word, but it's funner to use) that way & let's face it, whenever I start a project I don't make sure I have all the color paper I need ;)
Maybe you couldn't tell yet, but the party colors are pink, orange (tangerine like) and white.
I didn't include the back cause I didn't think you'd all care about the party details, but that's where I told guest about location, time, etc.
I'm so excited for this party myself and I can't wait & I'm not even one of the little girls!
Well, maybe I really am at heart :)
