YW Camp T-shirts

I have another t-shirt to show you, that was made with a freezer paper stencil.

I'm involved with the youth in my church and this year for girl's camp we had the theme of "Rock Solid". Our group was assigned the value of "Faith" and our rock was "Diamonds".
I was super excited about that because I love shiny sparkly and I could do plenty with that rock!

The other leaders wanted to make shirts for the girls, so they came up with the idea to have Faith on the girls shirts.
I knew we could make them inexpensively if we used freezer paper & painted the word on.

I used my SCAL software to write the word Faith & I cut the freezer paper on my Cricut Expression machine.

I got together with another leader and we painted the words on the shirts. First we tried to use just glitter paint, but it didn't show up enough, so we used metallic silver paint and then glitter paint over it.
Lastly, we had to have "diamonds" on the shirt, so we hot glued square crystals onto the shirts to dot the i.

I just love how they turned out & so did the girls!
Because we used men's undershirts & bought them in 5 & 6 packs, after all the supplies were bought, the shirts ended up being $2.00 a shirt. AWESOME!!
To see how easy these are to make, check out our tutorials posted here & here.
A shout out to Hailey for getting all the supplies & helping make the shirts!!! Thanks a bunch!!
**I would have posted pictures of the girls in their shirts, but they're all underage and I didn't feel that I should post pictures of them on the internet. You'll just have to believe me when I say they all looked darling in their shirts :)
