Framed Fabric Wall Decor

I saw some really cute wall decorations that I wanted from a local store, but they were on sale for $39 a piece.

They are absolutely ADORABLE, but I couldn't justify buying two or three of them just to put on my wall.

Here is another one that is not a wall hanging, but just as cute and a great inspiration to help me improvise.

I went to Home Fabrics and bought 3/4 of a yard of this really cute fabric at $6.99 a yard.

Then I bought 4 frames that were 2 for $12 with an extra 30% off.

I cut the fabric into 12" x 12" squares and framed them.

Not the original wall decor that I wanted, but I think these turned out really cute! They match my bedspread and I love the look. They are attached to the wall with our ever trusty 3M Command strips!

  13. Is there anything you could/would spray on the fabric when completed, to cut down on dust, etc?

    1. There is the picture fram glass over the fabric, so all I have to do is clean the glass occasionally.

  14. So pretty! How did these hold up in the frames? I saw some tutorials that said to tape or staple the fabric to a foam board and I'm wondering if that's really necessary. Thanks for the tutorial!
