My Latest Aprons

Here are my latest aprons that I made in case you haven't seen them yet on FB.
I think this is the cutest pattern so far and I will probably stick with this pattern for my Etsy store.

This cute floral apron never even made it to the Etsy store. Love it and I love the fabric.

I just love pink and brown together. They are so cute, with polka dots. Although, everything is cuter with polka dots. If you're interested in aprons, you can visit my etsy store here. Thanks to my gorgeous model Lynne for letting me take her photos!

Wardrobe Make-over

This is the wardrobe we bought at Ikea for a screamin deal!

As you can see the doors don't go the length of the wardrobe & they are somewhat "see-through" rather than the expensive wood ones we really wanted. That was why we got the deal. Anyway, we decided to put a shelf on top to deal with the short door problem & we would cover the inside of the doors to deal with the "see-through" problem.

This was my first idea because I LOVE this design, but once I had the fabric up there, it looked like way too much busy pattern to me. I decided that maybe plain black would look better, so here's the final product...

I went to Walmart today and bought 2 yards of black fabric for $1.97 a yard. Talk about cheap!! I also bought some sticky backed Velcro.

This is what the inside of the door looks like. Oh yeah, and the inside of the wardrobe. As you can see it's purpose is for my husband's many suits! notice the Christmas colored bins on the bottom. Those were on clearance after Christmas. Another sweet deal!!

This is a close up of the Velcro on the inside of the wardrobe door.
This was easy peasy & done within half an hour!
Did I tell you I love a great deal??? Well, I'll say it again, I LOVE a great deal!!
FYI, those red bins on the top shelf of the wardrobe are also a Christmas clearance deal. They are actually ornament holders, but you'd never guess. They go great with the colors in our room!

Teacher Appreciation PTO Gifts

As if you haven't seen enough of these...

Glass Charms

If you're hosting a party this Christmas, these are a cute idea for drinks.
Drink Charms

These would be really cute in red and white. You could stamp with a related Christmas stamp or print out a Christmas graphic.

Covering a Craft Box

This was my little project for the day............. a cute red box!

This is one end of my planter shelf in my bedroom. It's basically a huge waste of space, but it needed something up there to look nice too. I had all of this already, but it needed an extra touch.

so I found this box at Real Deals for 75% off & thought to myself, "I could totally change the look of that."

I got out my good 'ol trusty Mod Podge.

And bought some really cute paper from the local craft store. The Red is velvety and was regular price, but the black velvet paper, I got for .25 cents a piece. Score!

I only put the Mod Podge on the back side since this has a velvet texture, but this is what it looks like without the lid.

And this is it with the lid.
I did this entire thing in less than an hour & I love it!
